General Information
How do I find the studio?
Our address is 32 Brunswick St N, Stoneybatter, Dublin 7, D07 TWX3. We are a 5 minutes walk from the Red Line Luas Smithfield stop and a 10 minute walk from the Green Line Luas Broadstone - University stop.
I'm outside. How do I enter?
Once you have entered the courtyard, turn left and go up the stairs. On the left hand side of the door, there is a white doorbell with "The Pole Room" written on it. Press the doorbell and one of our wonderful instructors will open the door for you. See also the video below.
Is there parking available?
As we share the courtyard with other businesses, parking can be very limited. If you find a space, you're in luck. If not, you can park directly outside the studio on North Brunswick Street via ‘pay and display’ valid Monday-Saturday. There is also the Smithfield Q-Park just 3 minutes walking distance.
How do I book a class?
All bookings must be done in advance through the app Gymcatch, which can be completed via Book Now on our website or through the Gymcatch web browser or app. Click here for more detailed information.
How do I book a private class?
Please contact us via email/WhatsApp/Instagram to arrange a private. Once we have a date/time arranged we will book you in & arrange payment.
I have done pole already. How do I choose the level?
Please see 'Our Levels Explained' page to get an understanding of which level would suit you best. Please feel free to get in contact with us if you would like further clarification.
Do you have heels/kneepads I can borrow for your heels/flow class?
Yes, we have heels/knee pads for students to use during class. However, we have a limited amount and limited sizes so please bring your own if possible.
How many poles do you have in the studio?
We have four 3.5 meter tall poles in the studio. All by ThePoleItaly. Three are stainless steel and one is Geko-Grip (nickel free for those with allergies).

How does the waitlist work?
Once a session fills up, students can join the automated waitlist through Gymcatch. Once a space becomes available, everyone on the waitlist receives an instant notification and a direct booking link. If nobody from the waitlist claims the spot within a set priority window (30 minutes), the space goes out to general sale.
Do you have monthly memberships?
No, we don't have monthly memberships. We run on a credit based system, this allows our students more flexibility to use their credits. Please be aware that credits have an expiry date. See our packages for further details.
What are class packages? And how do they work?
Class packages are a set number of credits to be used for attending classes. They are not level specific and can be used for any group class.
Do you rent the space?
No, we do not rent the space.
What days do you run classes?
We currently run classes from Monday - Saturday.
How long is a class?
Each group class is 1 hour and 10 minutes. This is to ensure students have adequate time to practice on the pole will also respecting the importance of warming up and conditioning.
I'm locked outside the gate and can't get in. What do I do?
In the event that the gate is locked if you are trying to enter the studio then please call us (0892375652). If the gate is locked while leaving, then please return upstairs and notify the instructor.
Do you sell grip?
Yes, we stock MonkeyHands Sticky and Classic. Please ask a member of our team while you’re in the studio for more information.
Terms & Conditions
I'm early for class. Can I come in?
We appreciate you being organized and on time, but please try to arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before your class start time.
I'm late for class. Can I come in?
We understand that life can be chaotic and being late can happen. If you're running late, please notify us via your preferred method of contact. You can still enter once you're not later than 10 minutes.
What is your cancellation policy?
A 24 hour cancellation policy applies to every class. If you cancel a booking more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time, you will receive a credit to your account. This credit can be used to book another session and must be used within the validity period of your package. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session start time, or failure to attend, will result in the session being forfeited with no credit issued. The client is responsible for credits and rebooking of classes. The business reserves the rights to modify the timetable and cancel classes if the minimum number is not met. If the class is cancelled by the business, a credit will be issued to your account. All bookings, classes, and packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. Cancellations are credit only. No monetary refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
Do you do refunds?

I have a package active but I can't book classes. Why?
A package can be live but the class you are trying to book is after the date of the package expiration. If the class you are trying to book is after the package expiration date, then you will not be able to book in. It's important that credits are used within the expiration date of the package. If you have any issues, please get in touch.
I'm under 18. Can I join classes?
No, we do not offer classes to those under 18.We only offer private classes to those under 18.
Beginners Info
Do I need to have previous experience to start pole dance?
No, you do not need any previous dance or pole experience to start pole dance. We will build all the strength necessary along the way.
Is there a free trial class?
No, as we really value our instructors and the time, effort, and expertise they put into preparing and delivering each class, we do not offer free or trial classes. Our instructors deserve to be fairly compensated for their work.
If you’d like to try a class, we offer drop-in classes for €25, which are a great way to experience the studio and see if it’s right for you.
Can I come watch before I decide to commit to a class?
As we value the privacy, comfort, and experience of all our students, we do not allow anyone external to attend classes. We cannot accommodate partners, family members, friends, or children waiting or watching during classes.

What should I wear to a pole class?
We recommend sports clothes, layers (leggings, t-shirt, hoodie). Shorts (above the knee) and a sport top. For Stretching/Low Flow/Heels classes, knee pads are highly recommended.
Rings, jewellery, watches must be removed during class as they compromise student safety and damage the poles. Do not wear moisturizer before class.
What do I bring to class?
A towel for sweat, a cloth to clean the pole, water & grip (if needed).
How big is a class? Do I have to share the pole with someone?
Each class has a maximum number of 8 people. As a result, if there are four people or more booked in for a class, then you will have to share a pole.
